Get on your bike!

Six of our staff have been learning how to ride motorbikes. The area we cover is a vast 2000km2 and we struggle to have enough vehicles for all our staff to use. We therefore hit on the idea of using motorbikes which are a tenth of the cost to buy and a fifth of the cost to run compared to a bakkie (pick up truck). There is not much of a culture of using motorbikes in the area and staff were somewhat reluctant to try them out. However, a kind training company from Durban offered their services free of charge to provide training. The staff are out practising on the local sports ground, and judging by their happy faces they are enjoying their new found skills! A second group will be trained in a few week's time.
